[Lombok] - Tangsi Pink Beach

Tangsi Beach or better known as the Pink Beach.

It's located in the village Sekaroh, Jerowaru, East Lombok.

This beach is one of seven beaches in the world that has a pink sand beach,
which is one of two beaches in Indonesia that has pink sand.

Because of its uniqueness, it attracted beach lovers to visit this beach in Lombok.

Tranquil calm beach to spend half a day after spending hours of ride from Senggigi.

Mild waves inviting travelers to play, swim, snorkeling or just enjoy sunbath by the beach.

The color pink on the sand grains formed from white color sand
mixed with crushed red coral.

The sand  more obvious under the sunlight and when it's exposed to sea water.

Red Coral and Pink sand (supposedly all pink
but it turned to black. I wonder how I wonder why...).

Do climb up the hill to get the perfect breathtaking scenery of Pink Beach.

What an exotic tropical beach with extensive grasslands on the other side.

Heaven on Earth.

The end of the cliff...

 Hello~ there!!!

 Wish you're here!

Hole on the cliff.

Tangsi Beach II.

But this beach don't have the pink sand...

Ayam Taliwang for lunch...

Let's go to Tanjung Ringgit now!
Yes, you need to rent motorbike as the the road is narrow, rocky
and it's rough terrain for car to go up there.

[Lombok] - Gili Kondo (길리 곤도)

Leaving Gili Kapal to Gili Kondo...

But our guide told us that we're going to have lunch at the sea
at the other side of Gili Lampu.

Ayam (Chicken) Taliwang, special local food from
famous restaurant, which the traditional way of cooking handed down
from the chef that previously do the cooking for the King of Lombok.

Just relax and had short nap on this calm water...

  Welcome to Gili Kondo.

 Idyllic Island for secret escape!

Although we saw another boat, but didn't see other visitors there...

Tour guides and boatmen hiding inside the hut.

Free time to explore the whole island...

Perfect spot to admire the beauty of Gili Kondo...
see the calming blue sea and sky, listen to the soft sound of waves and wind.

Or walk to further end for another good view, however there's no shelter.

You have the luxury to enjoy the whole island
up to your heart's content.

We didn't snorkeling because hubby said he's tired and
there's no place to change our cloths. Don't want to catch cold
because wearing wet clothes for few hours on the way back to hotel.

Drying up myself but don't want to become charcoal.

Time to go back~! See you again!
