Visit Korea Special VIP Tour [Day 1-2]

After sumptuous lunch, our energy level bounced back to 100%. Kim eonni told us that Trick Eye Museum is just a stone's throw away from Nature Kitchen Restaurant, so we just happily strolled there while window shopping around this Hongik University Street.

~ Trick Eye Museum (트릭아이미술관) ~

We took tons of photos inside this interesting art museum!

When my kids went there in 2013, they took photos but I didn't see most of them when we're there. I think they replaced some of the paintings so that people won't get bored if they visit again next time.

 Panda mode activated... Hug Hug~!!!

I only found one similar photo... It finally it revealed to me the trick behind this photo. Actually we're lying on our tummies,but my son was lying on his back.

Well, it's kinda entertaining and we're just like kids having fun with these tricky paintings, so that it created illusion as if they're 3D instead of 2D on your photos.

 Icy cold in 'Christmas Wonderland' Ice Museum, but it didn't freeze our smiles~!

~ Hello Kitty Cafe (헬로키티 카페) ~

Fancy pink Hello Kitty Cafe at Hongdae. 

 

 This two-storey cafe painted with soft pastel pink tones and white color.

It's nice contrast with greenery garden outside the cafe, especially

there were lots of yellow quinces hanging on the tree.

I ordered Pinkcchino (핑크치노) just to match the dominant colors of the cafe.

Frankly speaking, I'm not a fan of Hello Kitty because I've phobia of cat (Ailurophobia). But, Hello Kitty still alright because it's not a real cat. Therefore, I prefer to see cream than cat on my cup. ;P

thanks to Hello Kitty die-hard fans out there~!^^

 

All Hello Kitty fans will definitely love to spend a lovely afternoon

 in this pretty cafe and pretend to be a princess of the day here.

This cafe has free Wi-fi and power plug, so you can snap lots of photos and real time upload them on your SNS~! ;P

Because it's popular for youngsters, You can find Hello Kitty Cafe

[Osaka] - Universal Studio Japan

Universal Studio Japan (USJ) was the first theme park under the Universal Studios brand to be built in Asia. We spent about 6 hours inside this most visited park in Japan.

Walking from the carpark to Universal Studio entrance, we saw 

construction site of 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' theme park.

 

 

 It was only opened in July 2014, which was 3 months later after our visit. 

    

Actually, we're more interested to visit magical world in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft 

and Wizardry, as Universal Studio Singapore doesn't have Harry Potter Theme Park.

Universal Studio Logo, we parted with our group for exciting adventures!

I can see Hogwarts castle, but couldn't find Hogwarts Express 

Train for the forbidden journey to the Hogsmeade Station. ㅠㅠ

Arrived at peaceful port... Amity Village.

Yes, we boarded on boat with pretty captain!

 But this relaxing ride didn't last long... suddenly we saw huge fins greeted us,

then showing their humongous mouth and showing off their sharp teeth!

 Our captain was busy protecting us... fired the jaws with her riffle everywhere.

Causing this gas tanks exploded causing sea of fire!

Oh o... OMG so scary~!!! 

Luckily we escaped, else we'll become breakfast of the day for hungry sharks!

It must be the wrong boat! Let's wait for other boats at Amity Village pier.

Oh dear... I was captured by dinosaur to the river tour.

Who brought back dinosaurs to life? Why so many dinosaurs 

including T. Rex roaming here? I almost lost my heartbeat 

when the boat drop from 25.9m high to escape from dinosaurs!

 

  I was out from the shark's mouth, into the dinosaur's mouth!

Tried to hide ourselves in air-conditioned cinema.

We didn't want to get ourselves BBQ-ed by sun 

after enveloping hot blasts from 'Back Draft'.

Little did we know that the android assassin, 'Terminator' didn't allow us to rest.

Terminator Show was really amazing real human performance incorporate with high-tech audio visual effects effects and creating lifelike scenes! Two thumbs up!!!

Let's check out astounding stunts and breathtaking action

at WaterWorld. 

WaterWorld show is about the earth in the future that has changed into an ocean 

planet because of global warming.

 The city depicted in this film called the "drifting city Atoll" has appeared in the park. 

The tremendous battle scenes unfolding here are just like in the movie. Motor boats and jet ski bikes gliding in full speed and stunt person on fire making a 13 meter dive. This adventure show and tremendous stunts in will take your breath away.

Actually we're like zooming from one attraction to the other. Especially for the shows, as some of the shows only has specific timing. Do get the theme park map before you touring around, so you won't get lost in this giant theme park.

And even if we've lots of time, we won't take this Hollywood Dream.
Not to mention Hollywood Dream Backdrop.

We both don't really enjoy roller coasters. I've 'weak' heart... so don't want to get heart attack because of these 1 - 5 minutes rides! 

I experienced 'Revenge of the Mummy' Ride in Universal Studio Singapore (USS), which we went in without knowing that it was indoor high speed roller coaster in total darkness, and unexpected fireballs, swarms of scarab beetles and an army of warrior mummies. I literally cried inside and beg it to stop. You know it's so scary... I didn't know what to do inside, don't know where to grab especially it suddenly reverse in lightning speed! Worse than nightmare!!!

 

 

 We hang around Hollywood park before gathering with our group.

Sexy 'Marilyn Monroe' in white dress...  

She's famous for wind-blown pose which many girls love to copy it.

  

We only had 2 ice cream cones with 2 scoops each for our lunch.

     

 Went to Pink Cafe to buy Whoopie Pies to munch in the coach.

Hi Pink Panther, this yummy Whoopie Pie for you~^^

   

There's Wonderland Themepark which is more suitable for family with kids.

The rides cater for younger kids with height 92cm and above, where the

rest of the parks minimum height is 102 if supervised by adult.

Popular and familiar cartoon characters such as Snoopy, Hello Kitty, Elmo and friends ready to entertain children in Wonderland Themepark.

By Train:  Alight at Universal City Station on JR Yumesaki Line (JR Sakurajima Line).
There are several direct trains From Osaka Station, and many more connections that require an easy transfer at Nishikujo Station and transfer to JR Yumesaki Line to Universal City Station

By Express Bus: Itami Airport (45 minutes) / Kansai International Airport (70 minutes).

By ferry: "Captain Line" ferry service from Osaka Aquarium to Universal Studios Japan (10 minutes) 700 yen (one way) / 1300 yen (roundtrip). Frequency:  1-2 ferries per hour.
