[Seoul] - Hotel Aventree Jongno

 We stayed in Hotel Aventree Jongno for 3 nights at double-bedroom.

 Nice clean and medium-sized room with a comfortable bed and 2 types of pillows.

 

 Complimentary 2 bottles of water and tea.

 Toilet with bidet and heated seat.

The shower space is small, but it's sparkling clean with all the necessary toiletries.

The airport bus is right in front of the hotel.

Aventree Hotel is strategically located near major attractions. It's within walkable distance to Jonggak Station, Insadong and Gyeongbokgung.

 

We're sad to have to say goodbye...

We took AREX from Seoul Station to Incheon Airport.

Claimed tax refund from a self-service machine.

We saw a Royal Procession in front of Korea Traditional Cultural Experience Centre.

Airport lounge for breakfast...

Had our scrumptious breakfast and we're now ready for our flight to Shanghai.

[Geoje] - Hongpo Observatory (여차 홍포전망대)

Half a day has gone, and time to refill our tummy because we're all hungry after strolled the Oedo Botania Island. 

Giant Anchovies (멸치) sculpture at the port.

 

Anchovies are famous in Geoje, therefore our guide recommended us to

eat speciality food here... 

Anchovies set meal consist of fresh Sashimi anchovy caught in Geoje. Our table 

suddenly full of everything anchovies in the different cooking method...

Spicy Anchovy Stew,...

 

Fried anchovy and seasoned kimchi anchovy

 

and appetizing banchan.

All are very delicious and our mouths were busy to chew and hands busy to pick everything. But we didn't have enough time to finish them all... feel like asking them to pack them! Make sure you eat anchovy if you're in Geoje!

After satisfying our tummies, let's satisfy our eyes too..

However, I  don't think you'll be able to find this place without a guide...

After some hiked on the unpaved road and climbed stairs to the observatory,

you can see lots of islands popped out from the sea!!!

But as soon as you see this scenery, you'll be refreshed!

   

According to our guide, there are 500 small islands from Geoje to Tongyeong !!!

Love the beautiful blue sea and sky... like wallpaper!

Actually, you can see Tsushima Island (대마도), Japan from here too!
