Recommended Tourist Attractions by Taxi Tour in Jeju Island | by Meheartseoul
Uh oh! I jumbled the places I visited in Jeju. Pardon me for my poor memory added with no sense of direction ㅠㅠ
Just referred back to my photo album, our first destination was Yongduam Rock before Hallim Park.

Jeju Map - places we visited in numerical order

1. Yongduam Rock Dragon Head Rock (용두암)

The 10m high and 30m long volcanic rock formation perched along the ocean side is said to resemble a dragon’s head.

There are several legends of how it came to be. One legend has it that a dragon stealing precious jade from Mt. Halla was shot down by an arrow from the mountain deity. When he fell down on Yongduam, his body immediately sank into the ocean and his head rapidly froze looking at the sky. Another legend has it that a white horse, who dreamed of being a dragon and ascending to the sky, came to be caught by a soldier and froze into the rock.

It's recommended as the best evening driving course for a beautiful scene of Yongduam Road

when there is the full moon shining above the lake, the waves are splashing...
Isn't it resembling like fairyland, where the dragon is about to rise from the sea?!! ^^

It takes about 10 minutes drive from airport to Yongduam Rock.

3. Hyeopjae Beach (협재해수욕장)

Hyeopjae Beach is located on the west side of Hanrim-eup, and is part of Hanrim Park. The beautiful white color of the sand comes from the large amounts of crushed seashells that have been mixed in with the sand. The long seashore stretches for 9 km and has cobalt colored seawater and evergreen forests scattered around the vicinity, making the scenery very beautiful. (Source: Visit Korea)
