[Shanghai] - Yuyuan Garden & City God Temple

Attractive ancient architectures intermingle with futuristic ultra-modern skyscrapers
at Yuyuan Garden's background.

Built in 1855, the Huxinting Teahouse at the Yu Garden pond remains in use in 2018

Love this classical Chinese Garden with pavilion and pond.
No wonder it's known as "the crown of beauty in Southeast China"

Yu Yuan Gardens Bazaar

It was like stepping into the ancient China portrayed in Chinese movies.

Here really "people mountain people sea"

Tea House on the second floor of the building.

You might want to take a rest after strolling and treat yourself with some local snacks here.

Famous Shanghai Soup Dumpling.

You can order foods that lining on the long tables...

There are also lots of variety of dim-sum...
We ordered xiaolongbao instead of giant soup dumpling.

It is also one of the Four National Cultural Markets, along with Panjiayuan Garden (潘家园) and Liulichang Street (琉璃厂大街) in Beijing, as well as the Confucius Temple in Nanjing.

City God Temple (城隍庙) is a Taoist temple located beside Yuyuan Garden.

Fuyou Lu Market

This garden is accessible from the Shanghai Metro's
Line 10 and Line 14 Yuyuan Garden station.
