Novotel Lombok Resort and Villas

Happy to spot one of the drivers holding my name when we walked out from Immigration and Customs Clearance. That's cleared our unnecessary worried as our room booking was made 1.5 months prior to our arrival..Somehow I was too busy and normally we never use airport pick up, so I forgot to email to reconfirm our arrival time. 

We bought prepaid SIM Cards with data plan from Telkomsel Simpati kiosk at the arrival area before heading to hotel. It took about 30 minutes ride from Lombok International Airport to Novotel Resort.

 

Novotel Garden Pool Villa.

Hotel staffs greeted us with nice smiles and welcome us to Lombok and Novotel Resort. The bellboy quickly assisted us with our luggage and walked us to hotel lobby. Cold cocktail drinks were served at the receptionist lobby.

 

Our room was ready when we arrived around 11:30 am, 

allowing us to check-in on the spot!^^

Kinda surprised when the General Manager personally appeared 

(suddenly pop-up beside me) at to the lobby to welcome us. 

Mr Choi not only friendly, but I can feel that he's also passionate about his job and hotel industry in Indonesia.

 He recommended us to join hotel daily Free Activities.

I personally think that most of these programs are fun, and value added especially free tours to tourist attractions such as Tanjung Aan and Kuta Market Visit.

 Since we couldn't join Tanjung Aan beach tour as they just left, he suggested us 

to chill and relax on the 'Beluga', a roofed bamboo platform with day bed.

    

Complimentary 1 hour body massage  @In Balance Spa by Novotel.

When he found out that we'd very tight schedules and will be leaving early in the morning. He asked the receptionist to call the spa for allowing flexibility for us until 10 pm instead of 2 pm for complimentary massage.

  

We're truly grateful by his kind generosity. In fact he'd given us special room rate when he knew that I wanted to introduce beauty of Lombok to my blog readers. On top of that, he also upgraded us to  Garden Pool Villa with Sasak thatched roof. 

 

He also checked the schedule buffet theme for that night.

Omo~! So excited to know that it's Korean Buffet!

 I think the net is just for decoration as no single mosquito in the room :P

Expresso coffee machine  with 5 premium coffee pods .

 

 Spacious and clean bathroom with two sinks.

    

 Stand alone bathtub on the left and toilet bowl on the right...

and luggage desk on the corner.

Bathrobes, slippers and bathroom amenities of 

bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrush etc.

     

The villa is designed with ultra comfort focusing on Sasak style roof 

blending well with exotic furnishings in earth-tone colors. 

      

Villas are quite far from one to another creating ultimate privacy...

very recommended for Honeymooners~!^^

    

Outside this big glass door is balcony with cloth dryer stand 

and a giant clay pot filled with water. (Not sure... maybe you can use 

the water to wash off the sands when you come back from beach).

Ups, forgot that they provided complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access. We walked to the lobby to get Wifi password suddenly the Guest Relationship Officer sitting in front of receptionist greeted me with smile: " What can I help you, Ms Vera?" 

Amazed! how could she know my name? Don't think I saw her when we check-in at the lobby. Not only that, she gave me a souvenir...

Beach loungers were almost fully occupied by Westerners who love suntanning.
I got sun burnt even wearing the jacket and applied sunscreen for protection!


Hubby was busy playing with his new toy drone,
but it seems that strong wind not so cooperative.

 Though Upper Pool looks inviting, but sad that we couldn't squeezed in time
to swim or dip ourselves in private Lagoon Pool. ㅠㅠ

 

You can participate Aqua Aerobic at lower pool next to this upper pool .

If you love water activities, you can either rent Paddle boat (SGD 5.00 / hour) or you might prefer to  sit comfortably inside wooden boat for these fun and interesting tours:

~ Monkey Feeding by Boat (60 minutes) - Rp. 50,000 / person

~ Sunset Boat Trip (75 minutes) - Rp. 75,000 / person

~ Hand Line Fishing Trip (120 minutes) - Rp. 100,000 / person

~ Snorkeling to Kuta (90 minutes) - Rp. 75,000 / person

~ Private Beach picnic Lunch (90 minutes) - Rp. 100,000 / person

They fees are considered cheap and affordable, therefore I wanted to highlight them to you.

     We didn't know they have these good value deals,

and rented car for touring around Kuta area.

     

 Will definitely bring my family and stay here here for sure~!^^

For your information, if you're planning to go to Pink Beach, it's better to stay here as it's nearer compare to Senggigi area. I booked hotel earlier before arranged my itinerary, else we'll stay here 2 nights to save traveling time.

Thank you Novotel Lombok for pampering and treating us like royalties. We can't say thanks enough to Mr Choi and his team for exceptional experience. Extra mile services and thoughtful ensuring we had exclusive moments and making our stay a splendid one. Two thumbs up~!^^

Nothing to complaint, but my only suggestion would be servicing the room aircon as the temperature in the room was a bit warm. Maybe hot climate, tall roof and spacious room causing we didn't fee the cooling effect from the aircon.
