Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch (대관령 양떼목장)

Pyeongchang is an interesting and beautiful city because it's the first cities to experience snow in Korea and now  hosting 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics.

After tried Grilled Hwangtae, the specialty food of this region,
we went to visit 200 sheep at Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch.

Sheep Ranch, a must-visit in Pyeongchang.

There are many ranches in Pyeongchang, and Daegwallyeong is a privately owned ranch on an area of 195 k㎡.

It's the only ranch that raises sheep in Pyeongchang.

If you're visiting during hot months, they're freely roaming around treeless hills
of grazing field which surrounded by a 1.2 meter-long circular walkway
so visitors can view the sheep at all times during their visit.

But they're kept indoor during chilly winter months.

These woolly sheep greeted people with their smiley face. So so so cute!!!

They're very friendly and hungry...

Without asking, they quickly help kids to reduce the burden off their hands.

Aigoo... 8 baskets of hays gone in less than 10 minutes!

"Can we have more, please?!"

Some of the sheep dilligently following you wherever you go,
and some just lazying and having sunbath.

My son told them to grow healthy and more wool after eating so much food.

Where's the Baa Baa Black Sheep?

Shearing sheds? Not sure...

 Beautiful snowscape scenery!

Let's play with the dog first.

Strolling trail to top of the hill.

It's like stairways to the sky...

Charming rustic wooden shack at the middle of the field.

It's used as a backdrop of the movie "The Man from Mars."

Exotic landscape especially when the white snow covered the land.

It's an instagram-worthy spot, therefore...

Kinda hard to take photo as a lot of people also roaming here
just to snap some beautiful photos.

 and kiddos having fun snow...

My gal busy building her snowman.

My boy sleeping on his new found a shiok snow sofa bed.

Such a cool moment to cherish!

'Seonbi' Scholar Snowman.

Never seen such a thick snow like this.

Didn't feel like leaving, but we need to go to other places...

Hope to visit there again next time.
