After the officer of tourist information helped to confirm our room, we walked from Jeonju Hyanggo and saw this...
Springtime (카페 봄날) - charming and unique Hanok-style Cafe.
Something hairy and fluffy inside this cafe caught kids' eyes...

It's a giant furry dog resting beside the glass door!
Kids insisted to go inside because of this big friend...
The owner was friendly and allowed us to bring food from outside,
as I told her that kids want to play with the dog.
Ordered drinks before going out to buy food.

We supposed to find a restaurant to have our lunch. It's not the time to sit down at the cafe, but they both sang the same tune that they're still full. We ate some
breads, gimbap and banana milk at the Jeongan resting point.
As if I didn't know their main reason was to wanna play with the dog. These two kids really animal lovers. My gal even want to be a zookeeper when she grows up. But she's afraid of ants, insects and bugs. Hahaha.

I'd to read the menu in Hangul and translate it to my hubby one by one. But some never or seldom heard especially for Traditional tea such as 민들레뿌리차, 국화차, 연잎차, 제주영귤발효자,... no choice to check dictionary:

For take-away, you can buy the drink you like, opt to
top up KRW 3,000 and get '봄날' water bottle.
First floor - Sitting areas, ordering counter,
and self-service for plain water.
The most attractive and interactive corner for kids and Mint (민트).
According to the owner, Mint was only eight-month pup.
He's about my son's size when sitting, or almost the height of its owner when standing.
Mint was quite lazy to move and only lying there. Kids patting and playing
with him, and then suddenly he's so excited to bite and lick my son's jacket.
Maybe because it has fur on the hoodie?!
Second floor has more spacious seating area compare to first floor.
It's good for large group gathering.
The interior was warmly decorated with
wooden tables, chairs and long simple compartment with books,
ornaments and green planters. It created humble and casual ambience. It's nice to sit at the cozy corner next to the window, relax and enjoy a cup of tea while reading a
book.
Surrounded by glass windows allowing natural light to
brighten up the whole space.
The whole place was tidy and 'dust-free'. Not exaggerating, it's not only clean, but shinning clean! When I was sitting there for one hour plus, I saw the owner was diligently wipe everything from small to big items including tables and stairs!!!
The other thing I like about this cafe is impressive view of Hanok tiled-roof
and the surrounding. Calm my mind and sooth my eyes!
Especially proper spacing between seats and high ceiling creating freedom nuance. Gazed out at the white snow and my mind couldn't help to have some beautiful daydreams...
How nice if this is my house...
Can I become co-owner of this cafe~?
However, when I told the staff that I'll bring to the cafe to eat, they didn't allow it. So, no choice but to look for other food.
Ended up bought this Jeondong Hotteok (전동 호떡)
which recommended by the cafe's owner.
Awesome customer service, right?!
The cafe is facing the pavilion and cart.
As the motel we stayed was outside Jeonju Hanok Village, we decided that my hubby will go to the hotel alone, just to drop the luggage instead of all of us go and squeezed inside the taxi.
Selfies while waiting for taxi...
Hubby afraid that he couldn't communicate with the driver later, therefore he wanted the driver to send him there, wait for him and drive him back to this cafe.
Omokjeong Pavilion (오목정).
Snowball fighting, anyone?
Springtime Cafe (카페 봄날)
Add: 60-1 Gyo-dong, Wansan-gu,
Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do.
Not sure whether this pavilion was purposely name the same as Omokdae (오목대) or not. Maybe because Omokdae is the iconic of Jeonju, then this is so called the smaller size of it.
Basically, pavilion in Korea is named with the ending 'Jeong' (정) or 'Ru / Dae' (루 / 대). Jeong is for medium size pavilion like Hwallaejeong (활래정), Hyangwonjeong Pavilion (향원정) and Ru / Dae is for big pavilion like Cheongyeonru Pavilion (청연루).
