Let's check out this iconic tower of Teluk Intan.

Menara Condong (The Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan).

It is a clock tower in Teluk Intan, which is the Malaysian equivalent of
the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy.

The tower is slanted leftward, similar to the Tower of Pisa,
but it's not as tall as Pisa Tower which stand at 55 metres.

This pagoda-shaped design tower is 25.5 metres tall with 110 steps.

It's divided into 3 storeys, but from outside it looks like an 8 storey tall.

The specialty for building the tower was to store water for the locals during
the drought season, in case of fire.

Now, this tower serve as a clock tower to keep time. The chiming clock was
installed in 1984 bought from London, which designed by J.W. Benson Ludgarhy.

It's a famous biscuit factory in Teluk Intan.
We bought Tambun biscuit, Ma Ti Suh, Chicken Floss biscuit,
peanut candy, flower teas, fruits preserved,...

Had soya beancurd, soyamilk, longan pudding and lempar.

After that we went to The Store shopping mall, but there was nothing to see or buy. Therefore, we ended going to Bagan Datoh earlier than our schedule.
