[Lombok] - New Furama Restaurant

Yohoo, after showered and changed my clothes, I finally smelled fresh, not sticky and smell like salted fish.

Then, we're heading to famous seafood restaurant in Senggigi area...

New Furama Seafood Restaurant. 

You need to select the seafood before entering the restaurant. Then, they will prepare it depending your preference whether you prefer it to be grilled, fried and steamed. 

  I thought this table was set for us...

 

But sadly, it's for Korean couple. It's their honeymoon trip.

 

 

It's alright, especially it's for just married couple. ^^

Pura Batu Bolong from far...

 

This sacred Hindu temple sitting on the black rock with a hole in the middle.

The building of worship located on the Senggigi shoreline with the position jutting into the sea. The temple is directly opposite Bali's Mount Agung.  

    

Candles and lamps were lighted when the sky turned darker. 

 

Haiz... sunset was blocked by the clouds.

Finally, they served our drinks and foods after waiting for about 15 to 20 minutes...

   

 Pineapple juice (Rp. 20,000) and Lemon juice (Rp. 20,000).

  

1.3 kg Grill Baronang Fish (Rp. 188,500) and

700 gr Mussels with oyster sauce (Rp.63,000).

Meal included rice and Kangkung. 

The prices above not yet included Government tax & Services of 15%.

The grilled fish was really yummy though it's quite spicy for me. Mussels tasted good too, but somehow it's like half of what we ordered. It's like we paid for the shells, so fish is definitely worth the price.

 We asked our driver to join us for dinner before going to Amelia  gift shop

to buy wild horse's milk and Madu Klanceng (honey).

  Laid-back atmosphere, quaint and cozy yet romantic ambiance.

The price was moderate considering delicious food, good service, and beachfront restaurant. It's perfect spot to catch sunset at Senggigi Beach. 

[Lombok] - Malimbu Hill

Our driver waited us at Teluk Nara harbor to bring us to Living Asia Hotel.

Before that, we stopped at Malimbu cliff to capture some photos.

Malimbu Hill is a nice place to catch sunset.

The actual name is Pantai Vulkanik Nipah, but...

 

 it's known as Malimbu Hill because...

it said that Malimbu Hill's view similar to Malibu Beach in California.

 This little monkey just suddenly popped up from nowhere.

 

 Really beautiful... but we'd to go back to hotel to have shower because

Choki recommended us Seafood restaurant and booked a table

for us to enjoy sunset dinner there.

[Lombok ] - Selong Belanak Beach

We aimed to go to all the beaches along Southern coast of Lombok on our first day. The driver told us it's impossible to do it in 4 hours. Moreover, some of the beaches quite remote,  hilly unpaved road not so recommended for four wheels, and different directions... Ok, we'd to cross out Semeti, Ruwuk Mawi and Seger Beach.

 Our first destination after lunch - Exotic Selong Belanak Beach.

The journey from Kuta to Selong Belanak was quite smooth, we went up the hill and saw Kuta beach  and Agro Beach from top...

   

 Let's continue our journey from Agro to Selong Belanak...

 OMG! OMG!!  My dream beach! Totally my very favorite beach in Lombok...

Secluded beach that offers laid-back vibe.

 Untouched tranquility not like commercialized beaches in Bali and Phuket.

Unique soft flour texture white sand...

   

 unlike most of the beaches around 

Kuta area which mostly rough or pepper-grain sands.

Rolling waves as if inviting visitors to come and play with them 
at this shallow beach with crystal clear azure waters.

Tourists happily waiting to surf the waves.

 

According to our driver, South Lombok is popular for surfers. Selong Belanak Beach is fabulous spot for those who wants to learn surfing or novice surfers. If you're professional surfers, you want to Mawi beach - the surfers paradise in Lombok.

Beach loungers, huts and surfboards available for rental.

I'm not greedy, I just need 12 hours here...

You know... haze started to conquer Singapore after our Lombok trip.

 

Previous month, after sending my daughter to tuition center, my son and I went to swimming for at least 2 to 4 hours. But we couldn't do so after that, because I don't want to drone myself in the haze! So, we'd only sit inside shopping mall. Wearing mask in humid Singapore is totally a torture, but we'd to do so whenever we step out from home. ㅠㅠ

Haze~ haze... please go away and don't come back again!
