[Lombok] - Gili Kapal (Gili Pasir)

Gili Kapal is also known as Gili Pasir because this whole island is basically nothing enormous plot of white sand (pasir).

When we reached there, about 90% of the island

already carpeted with clear water.

It's important to check with the boatman to arrange

the right timing, else this island might be disappeared from your sight. 

I don't know how many football fields can fit in this island...

Hubby tried to walk to the end, but it's too far away~!

As you can see... I'm standing on the dry area and 

the sand area is up to dark blue area.

Our boat anchored at the deeper area,

though it's still quite shallow that you're able to walk.

Seashells, stones and coral and coconut?!

 

 It's quite windy and nice to stroll here.

 We didn't snorkeling here.

[Indonesia] - Lovely Lombok

Yahoo... Just back from my Lombok trip ( I mean 3 weeks ago). 

You supposed to see this post 3 days ago, but... but because of 2 images that I wanted to resize at html format, the whole content just gone with one click of 'blank'space (backspace) ?!! Mama~~~ it's Blank Blank! *Bang Bang head!!! Now, I'll just summarized it to shorter post...

But, in terms of luck... I can consider myself a lucky person! 

My name was listed last on the winner list of Sea Games Guess and 

Win Contest  out of 11,000 entries and out of 51 who guessed correctly!

It's kinda hard to decide where to go, because there are 11 countries in Southeast Asia. Actually, you can choose any city in these countries that has available on Singapore Airline or Silkair flight.

We listed Philippines and Indonesia as we're planning for beach vacation. We actually keen to go to Boracay, but found out that late June until the end of October is the typhoon season. At the end we selected Lombok, unspoiled little sister of Bali Island because we'd been to Lombok for four times.

 Thank you for the tickets to 'Winning Lombok.'

My son asked his Dr Bear to accompany us because they are not joining us. I'd to daily update him Dr Bear activities with the photos.

 

Dr Bear arrived at Changi airport and had fun playing free games

and wefie with Singapore’s National Flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim

while waiting for boarding.

Arrived at Lombok International Airport after 2.5 hours flight.
